The 5th Annual
By Katrina Angel The weather forecast had
threatened rain all week, but at the 11th hour it cleared up. Partly
sunny and warm - a perfect golf day!
Sixteen golfers hit the links
at Camisle Golf Club on Saturday, September 21st. 18 holes later,
after much calling for the too-rarely seen drink cart, most of us
had significantly less golf balls than we started with. Regardless
a good time was had by all. We sat down to a lovely dinner and replayed
the days events in detail. Special congratulations to Kevin who single-handily
scored an eagle (two under par) on 14, and Andrew Gough for managing to
get hit with his own shot.
1st place with score of 70

Pam Aylan-Parker, Mark Purcell,
Shirley Whitwell, and Georgina Burns joined the group for dinner, and thus
received the low score of 0 for golf.
Approximately $150 was raised
for the Bursary.
