Barry Hardaker (79)
July 5, 2009 - Barry Hardaker worked for one
summer at HSR as an Administrator. He joined the Executive Staff of Scouts
Canada as a Field Executive in 1977, serving in various positions in the Greater
Toronto Region and for the Provincial Council of Ontario and is currently the
Executive Director - Field Services in the National Office.
Barry is married to Alleyne and lives in Oxford Mills, Ontario. They have a son
Ryan married to Corrie and they just had their 4th daughter born in
June 2009. Their daughter Leah-Anne (Prystupa) is married to Larry and they have
one daughter.
Barry writes:
"Always
return to HSR every summer and will be in Camp July 27-31, 2009. Hope to see
some past staff members and always enjoy looking at the plaques/the museum (I
donated some very old Kennabi crests a few years ago). I will be doing some
volunteer maintenance work at HSR that week along with meeting with the three
Council commissioners from Toronto/Shining Waters/Central Escarpment and the
Executive Director Peter Sundborg."
