Mark Daly (73,74,75,76,77,78)
 August
22, 2008 - Mark worked at HSR for five summers from 1973 to 1978
where he served as Staff in Training, Country Store Clerk, Senior
Composite Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM), Rifle Range Instructor and Composite
Skipper. Mark grew up in
Scarborough and in 1966 he joined the 8th Bendale group as a Cub and continued
through to Venturers. Bob
Burt (70-71) also came from the 8th Bendale. In
September 2008, he'll be
starting as an Scout leader with the 2nd Don Mills troop
Mark graduated from Trent
University and is now a programme manager with
Sun Microsystems. He served
for a number of years on the Alumni Executive including Treasurer. In 2008, he
was elected as Co-Chair. He
lives in Toronto, is married to Patty, and has a son Paul (08- ) who became a
staff-in-training at HSR in 2008, and two daughters:
Lauren who is a Sparks leader and Colleen
who is in Pathfinders.
He is also an elder at
St. Andrew's
Presbyterian Church in Scarborough as is fellow staffer
Tom Childs (75-78).
