Tim grew-up in Kincardine, Ontario, and graduated from Queen's University in Computer Science. He now resides in Ajax, Ontario. Tim is currently employed by Ontario Power Generation, designing software and hardware for the Pickering Nuclear reactor control computers.

In his idle hours you'll find Tim on the baseball field, or at the beach spiking some volleyballs. On summer weekends you'll frequently find him out hiking around, or paddling a canoe or kayak. During the colder months he'll often have skis or a board strapped to his feet, and either be on the western side of the continent carving-up the powder, or just sliding along local cross-country trails. Any time of year he can frequently be found chilling-out playing guitar.

Occasionally Tim goes gallivanting to far-off destinations to enjoy the different scenery; some of his more recent trips include Nepal, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.
