as a College Co-op Placement Student where he assisted primarily in program,
Rappel Instructor, Staff Assistant and Fall Assistant Ranger. Alan is currently
a Regional Field Executive for Scouts Canada in Northern
Ontario.

as an IT and Country Store Staff. He is a civil engineer.
HARRINGTON,
Ross (98-01) Orillia, ON -
Served
as IT, Waterfront/Rappelling and Waterfront/Kitchen. Currently attending
high school and a member of the 1st Kennabi Venturers. [August 2000]
HEAMAN,
Bob (67-68,70,72) Minesing, ON -
Served
as a Composite Jr. ASM, Sr. ASM and Skipper. Bob is a psychometrist/psychotherapist.
He is the brother of Dave Heaman (73-77) and Doug Heaman (66-68) who together
served 12 summers at HSR.
HEAMAN,
Doug (66-68) Markham, ON -
Doug
is the Assistant Head of English and a teacher at Bayview Secondary School
in Markham. He is the brother of Dave Heaman (73-77) and Bob Heaman (67-68,70,72)
who together served 12 summers at HSR.
HELMY,
Ryan (00) Scarborough, ON [Exp 2005]
Served
as IT. Ryan is still attending High School and continues to be active in
Scouting. [September 2000]
HENDERSON,
William (59-61,80) Lindsay, ON [Exp Apr 2010]
Served
as Administrator and Camp Director. Bill is now retired after many years
as a Scout Executive in the Greater Toronto Region.
HOLMBERG,
Bruce (84-87) Toronto, ON -
Served
as an IT, Waterfront Instructor and Senior Waterfront Instructor. Last
heard, Bruce was working as a chef in Toronto.
HOLYSH,
Martin (76-78) Fort McMurray, AB -
Martin
is the brother of Victor (74-78), Steve (78-82) and Phil (83-85), who together
have served a family record of sixteen summers at HSR over 12 years.
As the first Holysh to go through the "Staff-in-Training Program", he was
fondly referred to as "Martin Holysh, IT" during the summer of '76 (you
figure it out!) Subsequent two summers were spent as a Composite ASM. Martin
currently resides in Edmonton, Alberta where he is employed at Suncor as
the corporate Manager for Environment, Health and Safety. Martin and his
wife Heidi completed on March 17, 1997, the adoption of a son Tobias Cullen
Marshall Holysh. [Fall 1998]
HOLYSH,
Victor (74-78*)
Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA -
Served
as an IT, Rifle Range Instructor and Orienteering Instructor. After a short
two-year stay in Toronto, Victor and his family have moved to Minneapolis
where he is VP Services for Retek Information Systems, as software company.
Victor is the brother of Martin (76-78), Steve (78-82) and Phil (83-85),
who together have served a family record of sixteen summers at HSR
over 12 years. [November 1998]
HOSSACK,
Dave (78-79) Coldwater, ON -
Served
as IT and Trapper. Dave is currently a police officer with the Barrie Police
Service since 1985 having served in traffic, uniform and major crime/homicide
units and has been married since 1990. "I cannot express the profound effect
that two years on staff has had on my life. It seemed that wherever I was
or whatever I was doing, HSR was in my thoughts. My wife Shelle and I just
returned from a few days at guest site, my first time in camp in 20 years.
A paddle on Kennabi brought back a lot of memories. I am looking forward
to connecting with some long lost staff brothers and "RCB" recipients"

HOUGH, Barbara (2001-Present) Markham, ON [Exp Dec 2011]
Served as Camp Nurse. Barbara is currently employed as a Registered Nurse
working in research. [December 2006] HUNTLEY,
Shirley (88-95*)
Oak Ridges, ON -
Served
as Camp Nurse. Shirley is now retired. Active in scouting with the Resource
1st Oakridges. Currently still singing in 2 shows per year &
choir. [September 2000]
