J.C. Moore Collection: Main page
These pictures are in memory of J.C. Moore, known to his friends
as "J.C.". It was he who first found the original 2000 acres for sale by Mill
Valley Lumber Company in 1946. He was the first Camp Warden and worked in
various capacities at camp until his death in 1971.
The
photos and clippings were donated to the Alumni Archives for display in Kennabi
Lodge by his wife Muriel and sons Donald and Allan Moore
- the original staffers in June 19, 2004. We have begun scanning these for
online viewing in the fall of 2006 and will continue to add to the collection.
